I was really worried about this one. My source photo was shadowy and blurry, and when I sharpened up the shapes in it, I got this vaguely grouchy expression no matter how hard I tried not to.
Never having met a Golden who had that characteristic, I was very concerned. Could that possibly be right?
Much to my relief, the client happily informed me that yes, I'd caught Tucker's characteristic, catlike "And I should do that, why?" attitude. I wish I could've met the old fellow. I'd probably have loved him.
Oh but that is so lovely!!! Glad that you trusted your instinct, drew the softened grumpy and captured a personality in the process.
