More brown paper drawings

Canter, top, and Narcissus Bulbs, both mixed media on Ingres paper. These were demonstrations in my drawing classes. Horse is about 9" x 12" and bulbs approx. 9" x 13".

This is perhaps the smallest commissioned work I've ever done. He took a couple hours when I was between classes yesterday at Bloomington Art Center. I'm rather taken with the little fellow!

Louis the Golden Retriever

Below, the original state of this picture. Due to a miscommunication, I painted the dog with a summer background, when the client wanted snow. Whoops! Fortunately, I was able to change the season.

Created this morning just for the enjoyment of it. The horse is a Breyer model I've had since junior high. Toys often make interesting pieces of sculpture and I enjoy working from them.
